I <3 Fall/Autumn tag!!

Hi everyone!
Recently this tag has been everywhere in the blogging and YouTubing worlds so I thought I would hop on the bandwagon. I wasn't tagged in particular, but the three ones that really pushed me to do it were Islay's (link), Laura's (link), and Tanya's (link).

Question 1: What is your favourite fall/autumn lip product?
I'm afraid I'm going to have to be really boring on this one and say lip balm. I know, I know, and I do love the berry lip trend but I just can't wear it to school and lip balm is honestly my saviour in the colder (11) months in England.

Question 2: What is your favourite fall/autumn nail polish?
My last post on here was on my four favourite A/W nail varnishes (link), so I won't go into too much detail, but Barry M raspberry and pink silver glitter, and Topshop gone fishing and blitz.

Question 3: Favourite fall/autumn Starbucks drink?
I'm afraid to say it, but I've never actually been to Starbucks or Costa or anywhere like that. I know it's practically a crime but my parents are real coffee snobs so they won't go there. I'm hoping to do a favourite hot chocolates post soon though so look out for that!

Question 4: Favourite fall/autumn candle?
I'd love to have really expensive candles, but I just don't trust myself to have one in my room so only burn them when I'm in the bath. At the moment I'm loving the Next Autumn Spice candle (review), but want to get some Yankee Candle tealights as I just got a really cute tealight holder and love the Yankee Candle scents.

Question 5: Favourite fall/autumn scarf/accessory?
For this I have two snoods. The cream one is from Dorothy Perkins last year and I think it's perfect for wearing as part of an outfit. The navy one is from Accessorize and is huge so perfect for wearing when it's really cold with a coat. I also have an amazing pair of gloves which will feature soon. Back to scarves, I really love the tartan scarf trend, especially the one from H&M everyone has but I'm a bit wary because my school uniform is tartan,so don't want to look like I'm wearing my school scarf!

Question 6: Haunted house, haunted hayride or haunted corn maze?
This is obviously an American tag so I've never been on any of them but they all sound really cool!

Question 7: Favourite Halloween movie?
Again, this isn't as relevant in England as it is in America, but I absolutely hate scary films, so have never really seen a Halloween movie.

Question 8: Favourite candy to eat on Halloween?
I love trick-or-treating but don't like sweets (yes, you read that right) so chocolate.

Question 9: What are you dressing up as for Halloween?
Half term is a week later this year so we're away for Halloween, which is so annoying! So I'm not dressing up as anything.

Question 10: What is your favourite thing about fall/autumn?
I know this is really cliched, but I love all the leaves and beautiful colours, and I love that it is almost Christmas and I also like how it's really easy to be crafty.

So I hope you enjoyed this post everyone! I'm going away tomorrow so will hopefully have a post for you up on Sunday. I tag everyone, but would love to see Jade from Dotty Dolly (link) do it! And if you've done it please leave your links below!
Bye!xx

Favourite A/W nail varnishes!

Hi everyone!
As you may know, it is now half term and as I can't wear nail varnish during term time I suddenly become obsessed in the holidays. I know I'm a bit late for this as its practically winter here in England now, but hey-ho. Also, I don't quite know why I chose one of the summeriest, most pastelly backgrounds ever, but we live and learn ;)
I've chosen 4 colours, from two different brands. 2 of them are really cliched autumnal colours but one of them definitely isn't.

The first is Barry M raspberry. I'm pretty sure everyone and their dog (or is it mother?!) has this and I can see why. It's pretty much the perfect pinky-reddy toned burgundy and it looks so nice on the nails. Barry M nail varnishes are also obviously really cheap (£2.99) and good quality, and can be found in Boots and Superdrug.

Next is Barry M pink silver glitter. An extremely inventive name, but I think this is just the perfect colour to complement burgundies as it has flecks of pink glitter as well as silver (as the name would suggest). I'm wearing it in the picture below over raspberry (I like to call my nail painting style shabby chic, just FYI).

Another favourite is Topshop blitz. This is again a burgundy (current favourite colour), but is a metallic and has a really pretty golden shimmer to it. It can be found in Topshop for £6.

My last pick is a bit different, and is Topshop gone fishing. It is primarily a S/S shade, it being mint, but it has more green to it so verges on the khaki side of things. I also think it can be nice to have some lighter colours, even in winter. This one is £5. Oh, and by coincidence it's exactly the same colour as the background!

To sandwich in these colours, I use OPI start-to-finish for base and Sally Hansen insta-dri for masses of shine! I won't say too much about these now as I will probably do reviews, so look out for those.

So hope you enjoyed this post! What are your favourite A/W shades? Thanks for reading! Bye!xx

(PS. Sorry about the lack of posts lately but I had a geography essay due in yesterday that I lost all of  Saturday.)

Next Autumn Spice Candle

This year for me has been one of those ones when you get obsessed with that one particular season. Does anyone else know the feeling?
Well it's happened to me this Autumn, and I've been obsessed with trying to find some perfect scents. I'm going to check out the Yankee candle stuff when I get a chance, and can't wait for the body shop's Christmas stock to come out, but this candle is perfect for now, in Autumn.
And what is the candle? It's the next autumn spice candle. Next is not somewhere I would look for candles to be honest, but I was pleasantly surprised!
I'm afraid I'm rubbish at describing scents, but to me this is the perfect Autumn scent; spicy but not too spicy! Whilst the scent doesn't fill the room as much as more expensive ones, for £3.50 you can't complain.

I love it!!

(I can't find a link, but saw they do a festive spice multi wick one...)

Rose Review: Tangle teezer original styler- pink

Hi everyone
These hairbrushes have been around for a while now, but I'd never really thought about getting one. Until now. If you don't know what they are, they're basically small plastic hairbrushes that promise to get rid of all your tangles.
They come in lots of different colours, from sparkly purple to orange to black! I got mine in pink as I... Well like pink!!
So what do I think?
I personally love it. I think it brushes through my hair and does get rid of all the tangles. Obviously if you don't like plastic hairbrushes this isn't going to be for you, but I really like the slight massagey feeling it gives on your head. I know quite a few people with very thick hair think it doesn't brush their hair properly... I don't know as my hair is kind of normal, but I will say to me it feels like it's only brushing the top layer of hair, but when you run your fingers through it, it is completely brushed.
I got mine from Amazon, where it was around £8 with free delivery (link), but I also saw it was £7 in Rush, but more delivery costs.
Hope you enjoyed this post, and let me know your thoughts on it!
Bye!!xx

***on a side note, I saw on my box a limited edition Shaun the sheep compact styler is coming out. I.Need.This.In.My.Life. I never really watched the programme, but we're talking about a hairbrush with SHEEP on it here. S h e e p***

Models own wonderland collection!!

Hi everyone!
I don't usually do this type of post as I think they're better when their PR have contacted you, but I just had to share this new models own collection with you.

According to their Facebook page, it's available in their bottle shop in Westfield now and in boots stores. As far as I can see, it's not on the boots website just yet buy is coming on the models own website next Friday, the 12th of October.

They say...

"Five magical polishes ranging in gradients of subtle to dense glitter for a sophisticated grown up glimmer. For a manicured finish use the iridescent shades to give an accent of glitter, or be brave and layer up the polish until it's opaque! Each polish gives a different nail finish from frosty to full on snowstorm."

The colours are Jack frost, a wash of iridescent soft sparkle in a translucent cloudy base; Snowflake, a mesmerising transparent mix of white gold flakes; Southern lights, an opaque holographic multi-tonal glitter in a lilac finish; Northern lights, a fine holographic multi-tonal glitter in a pink finish; and Blizzard, a dense mix of hand cut glitters to give a silver day-night sparkle!

I personally love it, and think it's the first collection I've ever loved every single polish of, and really want to buy it now. I love that there are transparent AND opaque glitters and think it's a properly festive collection. Buutttt, it could also be worn in other seasons!! These sets usually retail for £30 but I'll update you when I know.

What do you think of this new collection?! Have your bought it yet?
Bye!!xxx

Rose Review: Stackers jewellery box

Hi everyone!!
Today I have a review of the Stackers jewellery boxes for you!
For my birthday this year, I got one of these jewellery boxes. I'd seen these occasionally before in John Lewis but never really heard much of them, particularly in the blogging community.
So what are they, and why are they so special?
What's different about these is basically that you can personalise it! Stackers are bought in parts, and come in loads of different colours and designs. So not only can you choose the colour and lining, you can also choose the actual physical shape. So if you have lots of rings, you can choose one with more ring spaces etc.
I got mine in the bright (fuchsia!!) Pink colour, with the smaller flowered lining, and the standard lid and three-sectioned parts. But there are soo many options to choose from. As you can see, I don't have too much jewellery at the moment, but what I like about these is that you can just build your box up as you get more jewellery. They are also quite reasonable in price and would make a great Christmas present. You can also get them in mini sizes.
Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed it! Bye!!x

Available from John Lewis.
